Entrepreneurs in Eindhoven increasingly sustainable
Alderman Staff Depla (Economic Affairs) had to work really hard Monday June 8. As many as forty times he reached the Natlab at Strijp-S Quality Mark Sustainable Entrepreneur off. In total there were 13 gold, 23 silver and 4 bronze winners. Thus the upward trend of sustainable entrepreneurs continues.
Alderman Staff Depla: "With the label we want entrepreneurs and companies that have sustainability high on its agenda, reward and put them into the spotlight, We see it as a nice incentive for other entrepreneurs to get started with the theme. This evening with the presentation of the labels brings entrepreneurs together.
By 2045 Eindhoven needs to be energy neutral. That is our clear ambition. That is only possible if all parties contribute and stores forces. It is important with enthusiastic businesses making city of meters to achieve a sustainable city. Cooperation is our strength."
Co-creation
The Quality Mark Sustainable Entrepreneur is an initiative of the municipality of Eindhoven and Eindhoven SMEs. They see the label as a good tool to show which companies are sustainable.
But to show that entrepreneurs exploit the profit opportunities of new sustainable business models. This also makes entrepreneurs come together, leading possibly to again co-creation and new business models.
